FRIENDS OF ST. FRANCIS XAVIER:

D'Costa Financial Group, under the banner of "Friends of St.Francis Xavier" and with the guidance of Fr.Terence D'Souza - Parish Priest of St.Francis Xavier Catholic Church, is pleased to announce it's sponsorship and organization of the Feast of St.Francis Xavier on the 7th of December, 2002.

A Music and Dance bonanza will be held in the Cafetorium while games and stalls and a Fair/Bazaar atmosphere will prevail in the Gymnasium. Stalls can be rented for $35.00 for a (10' x 10') space. All are encouraged to please come forward and actively participate in this Fiesta, which is the Feast of the Patron Saint of Goa.

Catholics and Goans in particular, are inordinately fond of any sweet and/or delicacy which is Goan in origin and those of you who are experts in your fields, please make the time and take the effort to put up a stall and display and sell your wares. Whether it is pickles, miscuit, goan masalas, sweets, cakes, Christmas kuswar, etc. please do join in the fun and make money while you are at it!

DFG is also pleased to announce that this being a venue where all Catholics and yes, Goans can join together and have a fun-filled day, we would welcome all the Village Clubs and Associations to please participate by holding their stalls in order to make your presence known. The stalls will be free for Associations and clubs, so long as you have some kind of event or game, with which to draw a crowd. Of added advantage will be the fact that those who are unaware of the existence of your club or association could actually come up and join in the membership of your particular club, or simply become aware that their village club or association of their choice exists and find out names of members and the events you host.
