I am trying to trace relatives of mine...most probably living in Canada. They lived most of their lives in Assansol, West Bengal. They later lived in Bandra, Bombay for a few years before following their daughters to Canada, around 20 years ago. The husband had a spinster sister living in Assansol, in a convent or similar institution.

-- John's parents were Jack Mascarenhas (Arrarim, Saligao) and Blandinha Machado (Tabravaddo, Saligao).
-- John, also fondly called *Sanu*, is my mother's first cousin.
