National Convention – Goans of KenyaThe Goan Welfare Society was charged with this responsibility of hosting the National Convention for the Kenyan Goans in Nairobi. To this end, we have set aside the weekend of Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th March’04 to host this National Convention at which we hope to see our fellow Goenkars from Mombasa, Eldoret, Kisumu, Kitale and other corners of Kenya. The GWS Committee are at the initial planning stage to decide on the Meeting agenda, the Venue and other related activities for the National Convention.In this regard we need your support and involvement to reach a decision on venue and other activities. |

Finally, we also take this opportunity to inform
you that the 4th East African Goan Convention is
being planned and will be hosted by the Goans of ARUSHA,
in Arusha, Tanzania during the Easter Weekend (9th
to 12th APRIL 2004). So those who wish to attend, please
make an early diary note! Further details will be circulated, as
soon as is made available to us by the organisers.
We look forward to receiving your early response but no later than 8th February 2004 as to if or not you will attend the National Convention on 6th and 7th March 2004
