Excerpt from Toronto Star 4th May, JULIA CARVALHO, Passed away peacefully at her residence in Mississauga in her 101st year. Survived by her loving sons Greg (Emily) and Anthony. Predeceased by her son Allu and daughter Philomena. Survived by daughter-in-law Louisa. Proud Mai to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Julia will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and many family and friends in Canada and abroad Funeral Mass at St. Ignatius Loyola Parish on Saturday, May 8th, 2004 at followed by interment at Assumption Catholic Cemetery, Mississauga.

2 May, JOHN P. DE SOUZA, Surrounded by his beloved wife, Olga, loving children, grandchildren and nephew, John passed away peacefully at his home. A loving father who will always be remembered by his children, Deanna, Wayne and his wife Naila, Ava, Debra and her husband Nello Fernandes, Sonja and her husband Joseph Glyn-Williams, Odis and his wife Karen. Caring grandfather to Nicole and her husband Shawn Da Costa, Kareen and husband Geoff Francis, Troy, Craig and wife Jennifer, Ryan, Steven, Jessica, Alysha and Courtney.Funeral Mass held on Thursday, May 6 at Annunciation Church, 3 Combermere Dr., Toronto. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
