Preik Jumpers have been in the finals of the league for the last three years. At mid point this season they have had a slow start. Coach Sybe Melis is making changes to boost Canadian import Rhona McKenzie from crosstown rivals Calgary's SAIT Trojans, and two locals formerly with University of Calgary point guard - Natalie Hudec and guard Julie Smulders.

Anita, 23, is a Kinesiology major. She was captain of the University of Lethbridge Pronghorns, in 2002 and 2003 and among others was:

$ selected to the 2003 Canada West "All Star" Women's Basketball Team.

$ co-winner, in 2002, of the 'Lethbridge Women's Associated Canadian Travellers-Athlete of the Year' Award.

$ gold medal winner in the 2000 CCAA National Basketball Championship with the Calgary's Mt. Royal College Cougars
