Mass will be at 5.00 p.m. and will be followed by
the social and dance. All are invited to attend.
HOWEVER, we will not sell food coupons in the hall.
Any member who wishes to eat dinner at the function
will have to purchase the dinner coupons in advance.
This is to ensure we do not run out of food as has
happened in previous years.
PLEASE NOTE: These tickets must
be purchased by November 5, 2004. On November 6
the prices will increase to Life Member: $15.00,
Other Adults: $20.00 and Children $7.50. No tickets
will be sold after November 12, 2004. Any one who
wishes to purchase the dinner coupons should contact
a member of the Committee. Any one who wishes to
help sell these dinner coupons can let me know.
If any one wants to donate door prizes please let

POSTER CONTEST:
The Four Categories for the Contest are 5 to 8 years;
9 to 12 years, 13 to 16 years, and 17 to 20 years.
Size: No larger than 22 by 30 inches.
Poster should be about the special exposition of
the body of St. Francis Xavier in Goa this year.
Posters must be sent to me or to Sharon, our Social
Secretary before November 8, 2004. All posters will
be displayed in the hall, and special prizes will
be awarded to the winner of each category. Contestants
must write their name, age, date of birth, and address
with telephone number on the back of the poster.

and join in the celebration of the feast of St. Francis

The solemn procession will start
at 10.00 a.m. with the relic of St. Francis Xavier
and Choir. Joining in the celebrations will be the
many Goan Groups covering Cultural, Social, Seniors,
and Sports activities. The procession will be followed
by solemn high mass.Celebrant : Monsignor Terence

Thereafter the congregation is invited to a Family
Fair in the Church Hall, with food stalls, gift tables,
etc..

SJCS Reunion
A reunion of former Students of St. Joseph's Convent
School (later Tumekuja School), Zanzibar, is planned
for the week of June 26 - July 3, 2005 in Toronto,
Canada. Initial plans include a dinner dance on
Saturday, July 2, a picnic on July 3, a tour of
Niagara Falls and a shopping expedition in the Toronto
Area sometime during the Reunion Week.
