TRIBUTE
TO THE LATE CLEMENT SEQUEIRA
by
Al Mathias
Hundreds
of friends, from near and far, came to the Simple Alternatives
funeral home to pay their last respects to Clement Sequeira,
and to offer their sincere condolences to the family.
Clement and
his family emigrated to Canada from Tanzania and Clement set
up his own printing business. His sincerity, hard work, dedication
to family and jovial personality won him the respect and admiration
of his friends and business colleagues alike.
Clement was
particularly proud to be a member of the Goan Overseas Association
and he was, several times, under extreme pressure to meet
very tight deadlines. He gave willingly of his time and resources
to the Association in the many printing jobs he was asked
to undertake.
Clement will
be particularly remembered for the brochures/magazines he
produced during the GOA International Goan Convention held
in 1988, and for his generosity and willingness to help anybody
in need.
Clement will
be sadly missed by his family and the many, many friends whose
lives he touched in a special way. May his soul rest in peace.
