LAURENTE, MAUDE - Peacefully in her 92nd year; beloved wife of the late John Delfin Laurente; loving mother of Greta (Lino), Meldrita (Menino), Stafford (Bella) and Lauriette; caring grandmother of David, John, Lilian; Muriel, Marwin, Merle, and Michelle; Marc and Justin; Louwellyn; great-grandmother of Julia, Sonia, Nicholas, Shawn, and Alexander; Cathleen, Seana, Cameron, Joshua, Marisa, Myriam, Jaelin, and Ciarra. Maude is also survived by her brother Francis D'Costa (U.K.). A proud parishioner of St. Pius X Church, Maude was a member of the Catholic Woman's League, New Hope Choir, Over 50 Club, Red Cross and volunteered throughout the community., Grandmother (as affectionately known by all), was born in Karachi, Pakistan, moved to and raised her children in Kenya (East Africa) and finally settled in her beloved Canada.

Sunday, July 31, 2005. REBELLO, REGINA OLIVIA CECILIA (nee DaSILVA) January 23, 1920 - July 31, 2005 Peacefully,after a valiant and courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by her husband Joseph (Joe). Loving and cherished mother of Mabel, Rowland (Ella), Ruben (Juliet), Muriel (Patrick) and Mozina. Loving gran to 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Survived by her sisters Evelyn, Clara, and Iris. Predeceased by her 4 sisters and 6 brothers. Regina will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews and dear friends. The family would like to thank the nursing staff and Dr. Hudson at the Credit Valley Hospital, and family doctor Dr. Moodley for their special care.
