This year we will be hosting a Costume Parade for the most original "Tanzanian outfit" right after dinner. There will be great prizes for the best "MALE" and "FEMALE" outfits.

Until the end of August 2005, dance tickets will be on sale at $30.00 per person.

Beginning September the tickets will be on sale at $35.00 per person until we are sold out.

Meeting for Enrolment of Members & Election of Executive Committee

NEW 55+GOAN SENIORS GROUP for Mississauga-Brampton-Etobicoke

Agenda:

A public meeting was held on Wednesday September 7, 2005, at the U of T Mississauga to obtain responses for the formation of  a seniors group (55+) serving the West End of Toronto including the Peel & Halton Regions. More than 45 responses were received, all in favour of starting the group. A mandate was given to the Steering Committee led by Tony Fernandes to proceed with the organization of the group.

The Steering Committee will be holding an enrolment/election meeting on October 18th, 2005  @ 7.30 p.m for the following:

- to enroll members

- to review and comment on a DRAFT constitution of the organization

- to elect the first Executive Committee

- to plan activities and events.

Eligible members will have to complete the enrollment  form and pay a fee to be eligible to vote. The figure decided is  $10 per person as an entrance fee and  will be non-refundable. A membership fee will also be charged  in January 2006.

 Please bring the completed enrolment form and the $10 enrolment fee to the meeting to be eligible for participating in the election of the new executive. Those who are unable to attend can send the completed form and cash with a friend or relative to the meeting, while others, who cannot access a computer, can fill the form at the meeting.
