PALACE DATE'S A
ROYAL DOUBLE FOR PROF JOHN (& WIFE ROSE D’SA)
29 October 2005
A Swansea University professor found himself dining with not one
but two royal families when he was invited to Buckingham Palace.
John Matthews, professor of physical geography, was one of 150
guests at a state banquet held in honour of the King and Queen
of Norway. The event marked the centenary of Norway's
independence.
Professor Matthews was accompanied by his wife Rose D'Sa, a
specialist in European law and member of the EU's Economic and
Social Committee.
They were presented to the Queen, the King and Queen of Norway,
and the Duke of Edinburgh. . . . . .
