Venue: St. Francis Xavier Church
5650 Mavis Road, Mississauga, ONT L5V 2N6

A "Town Hall" meeting is arranged at the above date & venue to discuss the formation of a Canadian Goan Centre in the west GTA. The initial concept is to acquire premises by purchase or lease, so that community groups of up to 300 persons, can gather for social, cultural, and sporting events.

Q. Who can attend?
A. Only those who have submitted formal "expressions of interest" to the Goa Group : canadiangoancentre@gmail.com

Q. Who is the Goa Group?
A. The Goa Group for now is no more than a list of names of persons who have expressed interest in seeing a Canadian Goan Centre, and more importantly, are prepared to allocate funds to bring it into existence.

Q. How does one submit an "expression of interest"?
A. Send email to canadiangoancentre@gmail.com to ask for particulars. Members on the list will also approach others, (those deemed to have interest in the Goan community at large), for support.

Attendees will need to register by e-mail ( canadiangoancentre@gmail.com) to the "Goa Group"
Those who are unable to attend can nominate a delegate.
A levy of $5.00 per person will be collected for use of the Church Hall, printing of handouts & for non-alcoholic drinks.
The meeting is expected to end by 6.00 p.m.

Approach:
· Introductions & Statement of Agenda
· Process Being Used (Six step process)
1. Generate the Idea
2. Establish the rationale
3. Discuss the feasibility & "Proof of Concept"
4. Form a "stakeholders committee".
