Worldwide Mailing List Save Goa
From:
HOJOGALV@aol.com
Dear Ladies\ Gentleman,
I am an Expat Goan Living in Houston, Texas since 92.
I visited Goa, last year and was horrified at the savage,
relentless destruction of the Environment, displacement of
native Goans. Through a frenzy of over development with no
accompanying infrastructure and no respect for the
Habitat, Local architecture, people and customs, Indian
Politicians have wreaked more havoc on Goa in 40 short
years, than the Portuguese Colonialists did in the last
500.
I met with some of the leaders of the Save Goa Committee
who through sheer determination; courage and force of will
manage to slow the Barbarians at the Gate. The latter
having made enormous investments in Bribing the local
politicians will not go away and have already regrouped
and continue this assault on Goa.
http://savegoa.com/
I request you to help me create an international database
of every Goan in the world, so we can inform them, in real
time of ongoing developments in this struggle to save Goa
from total anhilation. It will do us little good to
celebrate our culture when there is no Goa left. Please
ask for volunteers with software experience, at your
Convention for this purpose.
Yours Sincerely- Karl Rebello 409 549 4589 |
