International Goan Organization
Meet and Greet Hon. Eduardo Faleiro, Commissioner for NRI Affairs
Thursday July 24 from 7pm to 9pm.


The I.G.O. invites you, your friends and their friends to Meet and Greet Hon. Eduardo Faleiro, Commissioner for NRI Affairs, (Cabinet Minister rank) Government of Goa, India at Cawthra Senior Centre, located at 1389 Cawthra Road South (South of the QEW) on Thursday July 24 from 7pm to 9pm.

At our meetings on July 6th and 13th, many non-resident Goans (NRGs) expressed their extreme disappointment with regard to their ancestral properties in Goa and about opportunities for investing in the motherland. We promised that we would put these issues to the Hon Eduardo Faleiro when he visited Toronto for the International Goan Convention and so we are meeting our commitment to you.

Please send us your questions that you would like us to put to the Hon. Faleiro and we will collate them and solicit his answers and/or commitment to taking action on these issues. Kindly e-mail your questions to Myra Tavares at mtavares2@rogers.com and copy almathias@rogers.com. by July 21st. Time is of the essence!

2008 International Goan Convention

"Night in Goa"

The Quebec Goan Association Committee would like to invite all members and friends of the community to an evening of Goan culture, food, entertainment and dance, entitled "Night in Goa".
