By Muriel Lucas.

This quaint and cosy Restaurant, easy to find location, is situated at 5004 Timberlea Blvd.,at the corner of Eglinton & Tomken, in Mississauga, Ontario.

New to the Restaurant scene, and with a lifelong dream of one day owning a traditional family Restaurant, which delivers an exotic taste of Goa, with a combination of East European and South East Asian delites, finally came to pass, when they proudly celebrated their opening night in November 1999, with about 48 people in attendance, with an array of exotic dishes, that satisfied everyone’s palates.

Singhs in Haiti are My Heroes
http://sikhism.about.com/b/2010/01/27/singhs-in-haiti-are-my-heroes.htm

Amritpaul Singh Sikh Aid team cooks langar to feed 500 Haiti earthquake victims.

Like many of you whenever I read about the overwhelmed tragedy of the Haiti earthquake victims, I feel helpless and get choked up feeling as though I shall weep. I imagine a similar feeling prompted Harcharan Singh and Amritpaul Singh to leave the comfort of their homes in Brampton, Canada and join the Sikh Aid team as volunteers in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. After arriving in Haiti they collected two trucks loads of supplies and made a 30 hour trip to the Sikh Aid camp. Upon arrival they immediately set up a tent in the midst of the rubble and began preparing food for 500 earthquake victims. This is where I get really choked up. They put aside their own fatigue to cook and serve before they would rest. If you have ever been involved in making that amount of langar you know it takes many more working together in shifts all day or night to do the seva that these two Singhs accomplished. I'm really proud of them for being in Haiti and helping those who so desperately are in need! I'm trying really hard to keep my tears in check. Singhs, like these two, are my heroes.

2010 Fiat 500: Look what's coming to Canada
JOHN LEBLANC FOR THE TORONTO STAR

The Fiat 500 doesn’t take up much space on Italy’s country roads, nor in its congested cities. Will Canadians take to it here as a Chrysler subcompact?

Special to the Star
ROME - The rumours have been rife. Speculation, spurious. And the anticipation palpable. Since Fiat took a controlling interest in Detroit's then-bankrupt Chrysler back in June of this year, fans of Italian cars have been in a tizzy about what may actually go on sale here in Canada. Now, if all goes according to plans announced just this week (see AutoNews, W4), it looks like Fiat's mechanicals will underpin the majority of Chrysler vehicles in the coming years. But before most of those cars arrive in 2012, a North American version of the Fiat 500 will go on sale here about a year from now.
