Goa’s Krishnadas Shama Central Library
Reliving the story of Goa’s first writer

Comment by Olencio Fernandes of Mississauga, Ontario,

"The news of the establishment of a better Library equipped with rich literature, books, original manuscript in Konkani, and with a Goan name ought to make our lives infinitely richer and more abundant then before. That we now have knowledge available to every Goan and that the lack of anything, in the field of wisdom, necessary and desirable to human beings does not fit the constitution of rights. Furthermore, we hope our future generation will benefit from this feat and profit from the joint efforts of the Goans who with great sacrifice assisted in any way in this project."
